Payment, Order & Shipping Information

SHIPPING INFORMATION
USPS is the only vendor used for shipping services at this time. Green Mountain Gems uses only United States Postal Service (USPS) flat-rate shipping boxes and do not charge for shipping materials and/or handling fees.

Most orders are shipped in a medium or large flat-rate box.
USPS includes up to $50 of insurance protection per each flat-rate box. Should an item get damaged during the shipping process, you can reach out to USPS to file a claim. Green Mountain Gems can also initiate & work through the USPS claim for you, so long as you submit a written request to Green Mountain Gems either via their Facebook page or email. The decision on the claim is solely that of the United States Postal Service and Green Mountain Gems is not permitted to take any part in the decision-making process. 
*Additional protection beyond the included $50 can be purchased upon request. To submit a request directly to GMG, you must do so via their Facebook page prior to shipping. Please remember that if you choose not to add additional insurance, USPS will only be able to reimburse you up to $50 (claim must be accepted by USPS and proof of damage will be required).*

LIVE BROADCASTS/SALES - PAYMENTS
Invoices are sent for the items you order during the live broadcast show and/or by claiming on our Facebook and/or Tik Tok page. We ask that all new customers pay within 24 hours of invoice receipt.
After your first paid order we do offer installment payments on live sale orders of $100 and above - this must be requested and isn’t a guarantee on every order.
A non-refundable 25% down payment is required in order to initiate your installment plan and must be paid in full within 30 days (some larger orders may receive approval to extend the payment plan period to 60 days).
All installment plan orders cannot be amended once down payment has been applied and all additional items ordered will be added to the installment plan until paid in full.
If the installment plan isn't paid in full by the end of the agreed payment term, the 25% down payment will not be refunded - so please claim responsibly.
LIVE BROADCASTS/SALES - ADDITIONAL SHIPPING & OPEN BOX POLICY
All paid items from live sales will be left as an "open box".
Paid items will be shipped when YOU request them to be via private message to the page. If Green Mountain Gems (GMG) hasn’t heard from you in six months or longer, and no new items have been added, GMG will reach out to you to see if you’d like to close your open box and be shipped.
The "Open Box" policy is provided as a convenience to our customers to assist in savings on additional shipping costs.
When your shipping request is received within 5-10 business days your goods will be packaged & prepped for shipment.
Once packaging is complete, you will receive a request to place a shipping order or you'll receive an invoice for the shipping cost. As soon as the shipping invoice has been paid or your shipment order has been completed including payment, your package(s) will be shipped out. You may request a copy of your shipping receipt that includes tracking information via email or via the Green Mountain Gems Facebook page that can be found here: Green Mountain Gems | Facebook
LIVE BROADCASTS/SALES - ORDER/SALE INFORMATION
To claim an item during a live broadcast sale, you must comment the word "sold" along with the item number or item indicator as described during the live. 
You must be the first person to claim an item in order for your claim to be recognized.
Please remember that the order of comments that show on the hosts screen could differ from the order of claims showing on your screen. The first claim shown on the hosts screen is the comment that wins the claim - being argumentative and/or rude to the host will cause you to forfeit any prior or future claims for that live stream.
If you are made to forfeit claims more 3 or more times, you will no longer be allowed to claim during live streams for 150 days and you could be permanently banned. 
Important: Please claim responsibly! Please do not claim items unless you intend to purchase all items being claimed.
Items may be exchanged or put back at any point during the live stream in which they are being claimed.
You are allowed up to two order cancellations, if you cancel an order for a third time you must make payment in full within 5 minutes of the claim in order to continue claiming - if payment is not received at the time of claim, any additional claims will not be recognized.

During live sale streams, in addition to Shopify, we may also accept PayPal & CashApp ($GreenMountainGems) for payments.
